James J. Hill Days is back! Get ready to celebrate James J. Hill Days this September 8, 2017 to September 10, 2017. Come out with your family, friends, condos in Wayzata MN residents, and community the weekend after Labor Day.

Presented by Wyzata Chamber, James J. Hill Days is the largest annual community event. It was also voted Lake Minnetonka’s Best Festival. This 43^rd annual event is a celebration in honor of the famous Canadian-American railroad executive who built the Great Northern railroad and helped transform Wayzata into the fabulous tourist destination and city we know today. James J Hill Days is free and open to the public. Events throughout the weekend will include a beach bash, car show, carnival, concerts, dachshund races, fireworks, kids’ zone, live music, open-air street market, logrolling, parade, water ski show, and so much more! The parade will take place Sunday, September 10 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
